I am back from trip to Doctor Heegaard. By the way, if you haven't tuned into his Sunday night radio talk show..go for it. It's called the Gyno Show, and he will answer any question you have about vaginas.
I suppose it's good to have an OB who knows all about vaginas, right? Is this a weird topic? Let's move on.
Doc says he is "nervous". You know, these are just not the words you want to hear when you are 28 weeks pregnant. I mean, how about: "You're glowing!" "Look at that cute bump!" "Are you ever going to wax again?" Be quiet Will, wax and pregnancy do NOT mix.
So I guess that now I am home from work for at least another two weeks.
Suddenly having a free pass not to work is....NOT THAT GREAT.
It would be great if we did not depend on my income. It would be great if we were independently wealthy.
It is not great when I am going to stop getting paid, and the bills are not going to take a "leave of absence" with me.
Here is where Faith comes in, people. Because what else am I going to do right now except pray that God will help us?
I could start packing up for the box we may be living in behind Target, but I prefer to take the prayer highway right now, and see what unfolds.
In the meantime, I am coming up with a list of positives, soon to be published here.
Dont' worry, I assume the list of negatives will come next...

You stay put and let others take care of you for a change!!! We are so thrilled for you that you are adding to your beautiful family. Sure wish we lived close to you so I could pop over and keep you company and play with your darling children. The Lord has this all in His hands, which we need to remind ourselves of often (don't mean to be "preachy" here.)Love you and praying with you. Your west coast cuz, Kathy. :-)
Keep the faith momma. God really does provide in times of need. I relate to everything you're saying! You just have to keep reminding yourself that it's for your own good health as well as that little miracle you are carrying who is getting stronger by every hour he/she is in there. If all else fails, you can always use this experience as leverage when he/she is being a little you know what.
