Service Day

Today is a day of service to our country. Well and of course Martin Luther King Jr. Day..I mean I KNOW that..
I have been in the same pink velour sweat pants all day watching coverage of Barack Obama on CNN. He's been painting a house and I've felt like a complete shlep for not helping our country when our new glorious president has been painting walls in his expensive dress shirt...I mean they didn't even give the man a SMOCK or anything!!!
ANYWAY..then suddenly I realized, as I was wrestling the remote away from my son..that I WAS doing someone a service!! My daycare lady had the day off and she still got paid..

So I felt a lot better.

I am taking some kind of nasty pill to clear up some ishy bacterial infection and guess what? YOU CANNOT DRINK WHILE YOU TAKE THE PILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WHY??? OH!!! BECAUSE if you do..you will...VOMIT!!!!!
WHAT????? Whoever heard of such a nasty terrible horrible side effect???!!
Are you kidding me?
It is some cruel twist of fate that I would have this drug prescribed to me.
Soooo.....I am drinking mineral water.
GROSS.

Here is a picture of Keegan in Panama enjoying a pina..(that is peenya). He was in toddler heaven at the beach..no clothes..fresh fruit..lizards..it was a dream come true for him..I also think he looks very handsome for 20 months..and very "beachy"..
I am in the background and just ignore that..
Will: Why are you standing funny.
Me: I was trying to make my legs look thinner..I read about it in a magazine.
Will: Oh.
Well OBVIOUSLY it didn't work and I am all upset about my "legs" lately and I should just put my self on a stretching machine or something..but I am 4'11'' so screw it..I am never going to be "leggy" ugh..so whatever..get over it..Me..I have to get over it..no one else needs to..Will isn't mad or something..I mean he knew this when he married me..it's not like I was always sitting down and then just finally stood up one day and had "squatt-ish" legs and he thought I had long Heidi Klum-ish legs..

Oh.. I am just going to go have another mineral water and think about how to help the country some more...maybe invent a drug that doesn't make you VOMIT if you drink a glass of wine..hmmmm...I am on it!!!!!!!
