Lately I am "Mum Mum."
I am not sure when Keegan turned British but it's a little like Madonna..remember when she suddenly had the
English accent? Kathy Griffin pointed this out in one of her stand up routines..anyway.. Same thing.
OH! And didn't Britney Spears get one too..and then she shaved her head..God..nutso..
I am going to watch Keegan closely with Will's razor..
So..first, I was "Mama" and I just loved that..and now..I am "Mum Mum"
If I become "Moo Moo" I am going to the Y EVERY DAY..screw it..
Keegan is playing with none of his regular toys right now..not even Elmo Live!!! And that was a hot item this past Christmas..He could care less..Right now it's toilet paper and laundry baskets..those are the most exciting things on earth..
Part of me is proud of my son for being such a "recession-like" child..you know..kind of embracing the whole economic crisis and rolling with the punches..
the other part of me is just appalled..
didn't any of my I-need- three -different- colored- Coach- purses- during- college -on- my -BRAND- new -credit- card what -is -a- credit- card- that -means- free -money-doesn't-it'-uh-oh- Daddy-now-I-really- need- your-help-because- how -do -I- pay -for- this- credit- card?? self rub off on my precious precious boy??
Apparently not.
I am learning a lot from Keegan.
I am learning that bananas are the best food on earth.
That no one is funnier than his Dad or Elmo.
That bathtime is simply the GREATEST moment of the day.
And that putting books, food, clothes, blankets, and toys on the cats is FAR more fun than petting them.
Living life through the eyes of Keegan is glorious. I love it.
Just please God, don't make me Moo Moo, please.
