I guess it's legal to smoke pot in Colorado now. Ok. So does it seem weird to you that somewhere it's okay to do this but "otherwhere" it's not okay? I am trying to wrap my head around this and maybe if I was smoking right now, it would be a little clearer for me, but then again, probably not.
The only experience I ever had with pot left me clinging to the toilet in my brother's apartment convinced that someone was trying to steal all of his stereo equipment before I passed out. I only awoke when one of his friends needed to pee and he was polite enough to get my brother to drag me out of the bathroom first.
I am just trying to figure out what it's going to be like the next time I'm in Colorado. I mean will people be sitting around after dinner at outdoor restaurants, smoking dope instead of cigarettes? Will there just be a perpetual smell of incense everywhere? Is EVERYONE going to smoke it? Are they going to make commercials now: "Colorado, the state where everyone feels really effing mellow and hungry for Cheetos."
Who's going to sell it? Qwik Trip or Whole Foods or something? I mean what's going to happen to the drug dealers? Are these going to become legitimate business men?
What will they call their stores? The Pot Store? I mean, is there really a catchy name? Probably but I can't think of it right now because I'm not HIGH.
Seriously, I almost feel like hopping a plane and visiting my brother right now just to see what's going on!!
Well, I know what's going on, everyone is starting to "garden," there, but besides that.
Isn't the world a really interesting place?
