Wedded Bliss
Will and Keegan just went streaking through the house..I guess now that we are married it is okay to be naked all the time..
I haven't been running enough for that..
Okay so we got married and a lot of stuff happened and really it is at least four chapters for the book and I do want to blog about a lot of it..but I have been really really pooped..even Danny..my 7th grader who notices EVERYTHING about me has said: You aren't hyper anymore..
and he was the one before the wedding who was saying: Are you going to calm down after the wedding?
I think he liked me better before.
But seriously, folks, it was a lot of work, the wedding thing..more than I anticipated..more than child birth..because with child birth at least I had an epidural to help me through the rough spots..when the party barn was full of flies a day before the wedding..and my mom and mother-in-law were putting together tables and there were piles of leaves everywhere that had to be made into decorations and the local grocery store was calling saying we had ordered 45 pounds of potato salad when WE HADN'T there wasn't an epidural..and getting drunk WASN'T an option (in the middle of the day at least)
but the real crux of it was (ooooh crux what a weird word!) was that I was a mom getting married and when you are a mom...you think differently..and so I was DIFFERENT..oh I don't know it's hard to explain but I worried about Keegan and so I was uptight and weird at times and someday if you are a 35 year old mother getting married you will know what I mean..(then you will probably have a blog too! haha!)
When I accidentally got married the first time, I didn't cry a bit..In fact, I remember someone saying: "You are the calmest bride ever." I should have answered: "That's because this really doesn't count and I am just waiting for Will. This is really just all a trial run and really we should just not even order any pictures once it's all over because my step-dad is just going to be mad when he orders that big 11 by 20 and has to throw it out."
I bawled for a YEAR thinking about marrying Will...I was a WRECK!! I am going to write a book for brides because if the bride doesn't feel even one teeny bit weepy about it then she is NOT marrying the right person. I think I know what I am talking about.
Ooooh! I am back and blogging..I LOVE being married! Now I am a know-it-all about even more stuff! Yes!!!!
