We are snowed in.
Will is going stir crazy..he has been pacing the house for the last 25 minutes.
"I'm, uh, going a little stir crazy here.."
"Yes, I can see that. Throw the cats in the snow again."
Our biggest entertainment has been throwing the cats out onto the deck into the big snow drift and watching them shake out their paws.
We need to get plowed out soon.
On a little more serious note, I had a positive test for pre-term labor. Of course, Dr. Doolittle called on Thursday night saying he wanted to discuss some "test results" with me..and then was unavailable until the next morning. So I had NO idea what was wrong..this made for a restful, relaxing Thursday night..ARE YOU KIDDING ME??!!
So I have a chance of delivering early..very early..and I just don't think our son's done enought yet. A baby shouldn't really be able to fit in your pocket...even if I have joked about it..I mean COME ON! So we go tomorrow for an ultrasound and will know more. Until then I am just praying about it and trying not to run 8000 scenarios through my head.
"...And I have a pregnant fiance who could go into labor any time and I need the driveway plowed or you are hearing from my lawyer.."
Will is on the phone again with our association. They are supposed to plow our driveway after a big storm. I didn't know we had a lawyer. I mean there's one in Chicago that he's used, but he's really not a lot of help, so I am not sure how he would come through in this situation...Can you sue for an unplowed driveway?
It is taking Will a half hour to bundle up to go outside. "I am feeling stubborn. I don't want to shovel." I can tell this by the amount of time he has been dilly-dallying. Really, we ARE paying for someone else to do it..but we do have to go to work tomorrow so it is probably smart for him just to go out there. Of course this is easy for me to say as I sit on the couch in my pajamas..
"Time to take Sylvester sledding!"
Oh God, I should try to save the cat.
I hope spring comes soon...
