Good one Will.
Listen. It takes us five hours to get home from Wisconsin. It only takes us three and a half hours to get there but it takes us five hours to get home. I am not sure why this is. And Keegan cries a lot on the way home. I am not sure why this is. And the only thing that works to stop him crying is if Will and I sing. ANYTHING we can. So we do. He enjoys the Mankato East fight song. The theme song from Annie (that I starred in in seventh grade) and 100 bottles of Beer on the Wall, sung in duet.
Our barn wedding is two months away. Cue the mules. There are mules to be "brought up from the pasture" the day of the wedding to be put on display. This is not part of my wedding planning. But you know this is part of Will's. I love him and he is part cowboy, so I am not saying anything.
So the planning is going pretty well and I only have a minor freak out once in a while and it's usually over something like relish trays. And then Will, who is wonderful, calms me down, and all is right in the world with our relish trays.
It is super hot this week and babies cannot be outside in this weather because they will melt, so we are spending our days inside. Keegan is sneezing a lot right now which makes me nervous and so I am sure that I will spend the next three hours looking up what makes babies sneeze. This is one of the reasons I don't blog as much as I used to.
Will will be home in a hour and I am making chicken. We eat a lot of chicken. I know he is not always happy about this and he probably wishes I was still pregnant because we ate a lot of pizza back then..but last week I disguised his chicken under sauce and cheese and called it "Pizza chicken" so he was pretty happy.
Here is Keegan at 3 months. Has it been that long already?
Yes, it has.
And I mean that in a good way.
Will is the best dad. And Keegan is a very good baby. And me, I am getting the hang of it.
